About Me

I am currently a PhD student of Alex Gorodnik at the University of Zurich. Before that, I studied under Rainer Nagel in Tübingen. My interests gravitate around dynamical systems, especially topological dynamics, ergodic theory, and random walks.

I’ve always been grateful towards people who keep blogs & websites and share with others more of themselves than you can usually find on a corporate-design university webpage. Ranging from links to interesting people, websites, or blogs to valuable insights and perspectives that cannot be found in text books — there is definitely a place and an important use for this channel of communication. So here is my blog, part to pay it forward, part to learn by writing and sort my thoughts. Beyond theorems and corollaries, you may also find the occasional post about science communication and more!
